Introduction
Safdarjung tomb is a great place to go for picnics and strolls around the beautiful historic mausoleum. After six, one can enjoy the spectacular lighting and the manicured gardens. Tourists enjoy indulging in photography and even shopping at the Khan market.

- Foreigners- INR 200
- No fee is charged for taking pictures inside but for videography one has to pay a nominal amount of Rs. 25.
How to Reach
- The nearest metro station is at Jor Bagh (yellow line). It's a six-minute walk from there.
- Parking space is available.

Since both winter and summer are quite harsh in Delhi, the best time can be winter mornings. It's ideal for picnics since food is allowed inside, however, there are no vendors. Then again, you would not want to miss the evening lighting. So, summer evenings are great too.
