Surajpur is the perfect spot. Grab your camera, food, mat and family and set out to this beautiful bird sanctuary, preferably by car. 

Best Season

• For birders, this is a place where you are likely to find many migratory birds, especially the goose or duck family.
• So the best season is November to February, ie the winter season.
• This season is best for picnics as well.
• You can come early in the day and relax till evening

Location

It is only 25 to 30 km from Delhi. We recommend you come in your own car. You will enjoy it best if you come with family and friends.

Our fav features!

• We loved the tree houses every few hundred metres away.
• We enjoyed the breath taking view while sitting on the bridge and enjoying looking at the bar-headed goose and brahmini ducks.
• We sat on the grass lawn and enjoyed our picnic, however, be mindful of bugs and wild plants!

Points to remember

• Beware of your surroundings at all times.
• There are snakes, poisonous insects and shrubs.
• Do not feed animals and birds, these are protected habitats.
